NYK unveils Japan’s first fully battery-driven work vessel

NYK Group has unveiled what it states is Japan’s first fully battery-driven work vessel. The e-Crea was built by NYK Group company Keihin Dock at the Koyasu Shipyard. Classified by the Japan Craft Inspection Organization (JCI), the vessel has a breadth of approximately 3m, a depth of 1.7m and a crew capacity of up to 14 persons.
