MENTOR, Ohio -- A bicyclist in Mentor called 911 Wednesday after a driver threw an object at him, yelled and sped away. Moments later, while still on the phone, he told a dispatcher the man had turned his SUV around and was trying to run him down.

Michael Leppelmeier, 42, faces charges of aggravated vehicle assault, felonious assault and robbery. The victims suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
