A man and woman who were killed early Friday morning in Swansea in a car crash that involved a murder suspect have been identified as a Rhode Island couple, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday afternoon. Bristol residents Carolyn and James Carcasi, 54 and 53, died in a crash that occurred shortly after 12:15 a.m. on Feb. 27 at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 136, according to authorities.
