- Grossing over $400 million globally on a budget of less than $1 million, the film became a breakout success. Its unprecedented theatrical performance included strong gains during its second and third weekends, defying typical box office trends.
- The story follows Bear and Nikki, who break a toy called the "One Wish Willow," with consequences that prove fatal. Fueled by strong word-of-mouth, the film earned an "A-" on CinemaScore and 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.
