Gerald Young was just a little boy when his hometown began the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo.  He hasn’t missed one since. As the community celebrates the 90th year of its marquee event, many in this town of nearly 1,600 know of Young. He has status and has served as a volunteer with the rodeo.
