Oak Lawn Library's dedication of its new rainbow steps

In Friday’s paper, David Taffet wrote about the Oak Lawn Library and the initiative to paint its steps in Pride colors as a bookend to the Cedar Springs Strip. The project was in response to the removal of the rainbow crosswalks. The painting began earlier in the week and culminated into a dedication ceremony on Saturday with a ribbon-cutting and comments by local leaders. Here is are some images from Saturday’s event.
