A man was taken into custody after an unprovoked assault on a 20-year-old NYU student in Greenwich Village, with police and campus safety investigating the incident.
- A 45-year-old man, James Rizzo, was arrested and charged with persistent sexual abuse, forcible touching and assault for attacking a 20-year-old New York University student on a street in Greenwich Village.
- Bystanders watched in shock as Rizzo pulled the student's hair, slapped her and knocked her to the ground before a group of women stopped to help and called 911.
