U.S. officials told The New York Times that Washington continues to demand Iran halt its uranium enrichment. A Western source told Haaretz the recent increase in enrichment is significant enough to enable Iran to carry out a nuclear test within months
Iran devoted its nuclear posture to Lebanon, sending letters from Beirut to Washington that it was willing to provide assurances, but that it was not debatable in stopping the enrichment that was being done.
