NY weather update: The current severe thunderstorm warning will expire at 5:15 p.m.

ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY AND OSWEGO COUNTY, NEW YORK, JUL 14 – The severe thunderstorm warning for St. Lawrence and Oswego Counties is ending as the storm weakened below severe limits, though gusty winds and heavy rain remain possible, the National Weather Service said.

The warning was issued for St. Lawrence County."The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm," says the National Weather Service.
