Nuclear energy research in Singapore boosted with S$66 million grant, new radiation-proof facility in NUS

SINGAPORE, JUL 11 – The S$66 million grant supports expanded nuclear safety research under Singapore’s RIE 2025 plan, aiming to build a pool of 100 nuclear energy experts, officials said.

The building also houses the National Environment Agency's scientific facilities for radiation monitoring.
