Blues Ring in the Changes as To'o Dumped for Decider
Laurie Daley kept Mitchell Moses and Nathan Cleary in the halves as NSW reshaped its right edge after a 44-24 loss in Origin II.
NSW coach Laurie Daley confirmed five changes to his squad for the State of Origin III decider, omitting Brian To'o after 17 successive appearances and giving Jack Bostock his Origin debut on the wing.
Daley's overhaul follows the team's 44-24 loss in Game II, where the Blues led at half-time before conceding heavily in the second 40 minutes. "We did some really good things in game two," Daley said.
Bradman Best and Stephen Crichton return to the centres, while Liam Martin joins the second row to bolster the pack. Haumole Olakau'atu and Blayke Brailey secure bench spots for the July 8 clash.
Kotoni Staggs, Dylan Lucas, and Api Koroisau were dropped from the squad, while Victor Radley was demoted to 20th man and Tolutau Koula shifted to the bench.
With his contract expiring in 2027 and mounting pressure for results, Daley is banking on these adjustments to deliver an upset victory at Suncorp Stadium on July 8.
