Notorious gang rapist charged after raid
Police allege the raid uncovered $220,000 in cash, cocaine and MDMA, and say Skaf directed a criminal group.
On Wednesday, police arrested notorious Sydney gang rapist Mohammed Skaf at his Greenacre home, charging the 42-year-old with 24 offences including directing a criminal group and large-scale drug supply.
During a search of Skaf and a nearby park, officers allegedly seized $25,000 and 140 grams of cocaine; a raid on his home uncovered approximately $220,000 in cash, 68 grams of cocaine, and 10 grams of MDMA.
Police also arrested Ahmed Warwar, 51, in Bankstown and Winter Egitmeglu, 54, in Newington on Wednesday night, alleging both acted as runners for Skaf's cocaine supply syndicate.
All three appeared in Bankstown Local Court on Thursday and were refused bail, marking Skaf's return to custody after his 2021 release from a 21-year sentence for gang rapes.
Alleged victim Tracy Lee questioned the justice system following the arrest, stating that while she sought "justice with no malice," the charges suggest Skaf's rehabilitation after his 2021 release may have failed.
