CMF Phone 2 Pro is official — and it could be the budget phone of the year

In May 2025, CMF by Nothing introduced the CMF Phone 2 Pro, an affordable smartphone targeting a global audience with particular emphasis on the Indian and U.S. Markets.
The launch followed rising competition in the budget phone segment and improves on last year's model by adding IP54 water resistance and a non-removable back cover.
The phone features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display at 1080x2392 resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and a triple rear camera setup led by two 50MP sensors.
CMF states that the device’s 5,000mAh battery can last up to two days under typical use and supports 33W fast charging. It comes pre-installed with Nothing OS 3.2 built on Android 15 and is guaranteed to receive Android version upgrades for three years along with security updates extending over six years.
Priced at $279 in the US and ₹18,999 to ₹20,999 in India, the CMF Phone 2 Pro offers strong value with improved design, performance, and cameras, though US 5G compatibility is limited for some carriers.
