Hamas noted that violations have occurred almost since the beginning of the agreement, pointing out 271 Palestinians dead and 622 wounded in Israeli army attacks, as well as dozens of house arrests and demolitions, according to a communiqué. It also indicated the closure of the Rafah border crossing, the ban on the activities of the United Nations agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and restrictions on humanitarian aid.
