NASCAR's All-Star Race Returns to North Wilkesboro Speedway in 2027

NASCAR is bringing the All-Star Race back to North Wilkesboro Speedway in 2027, returning to the 0.625-mile asphalt oval in North Carolina after a one-year stop at Dover Motor Speedway.
Marking the 35th anniversary of "One Hot Night," the 2027 event also celebrates the 80th anniversary of the track, which originally opened in 1947.
The tripleheader weekend will feature the Craftsman Truck Series on Friday, the Reilly Auto Parts Series on Saturday, and the $1 million All-Star Race on Sunday, running May 21-23, 2027.
Speedway Motorsports President and CEO Marcus Smith called the All-Star event a "race of innovation," as collaboration with teams and drivers will introduce unique elements to the race format and technical specifications.
Smith noted the "biggest race week ever" reflects fan enthusiasm since the track reopened in 2023; the weekend will be televised on Fox Sports in prime time.
