The Oldest Group Photo in the World Is Guarded at the Ústí Castle, It Is Heading for the UNESCO List
The world's oldest portrait group photograph is probably in the castle in Velké Březno near Ústí nad Labem. The photo depicting members of the count family of Karel Chotek in Munich in 1839 has now been included in the national list of UNESCO's Memory of the World. Monuments officials will strive to have it included on the international list. Castellan Miloš Musil told reporters on Tuesday.
