Norfin brings JW Marriott to the Algarve. Luxury hotel with 172 rooms opens

The JW Marriott Algarve Palmares Hotel & Spa does not yet have a scheduled opening date. The Norfin Group has announced the construction of the JW Marriott Algarve Palmares Hotel & Spa, a five-star hotel that will mark the debut of the JW Marriott brand in Portugal. The development will be integrated into the Palmares Ocean Living & Golf resort, in Lagos, Algarve. Construction began in February 2025 and the hotel will have 172 rooms and suites. …

This is the first luxury hotel of the Marriott Internacional brand in Portuguese territory. Arrival takes place in Lagos, at the Palmares Ocean Living & Golf resort, and will be located between the Bay of Lagos and the Alvor Eria.
