Four four-team pools will be used only for the Division 1 playoffs this postseason. All other divisions will be a traditional single-elimination bracket.

CIF baseball playoffs: Top seeds, Orange County match-ups for first round games

CIF officials on Friday announced pairings for the 2026 baseball playoffs. There will be 271 teams in nine divisions. For the first time, Division 1 is a double elimination pool play tournament that begins on Tuesday, May 12 with first round games.
