Volunteers Matty van Roosendaal and Williejan Rooijakkers keep vigil at the bedside of terminal patients in the Elkerliek Hospital in Helmond. They do this to relieve family members or to support someone without family in the final phase of life. Elkerliek is the first hospital in Brabant to use this special group of volunteers.
