No one injured when semi hauling beans struck by train near Hector, Minnesota

HECTOR — No injuries were reported Monday afternoon after a train crashed into a semitractor-trailer hauling soybeans. According to a news release from the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, initial investigation showed the driver of the semi failed to stop at a stop sign and did not yield to an oncoming train before entering a railroad crossing about 2 miles west of Hector.
