NMSP competing in 2026 Best Looking Cruiser Contest
The agency’s Mustang and Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet photo is competing for the 2027 calendar cover, with voting open through July 10.
The American Association of State Troopers has launched its 13th Annual Best Looking Cruiser Contest, where agencies compete for the "Best Looking Cruiser Award" and a cover spot on the 2027 AAST calendar.
Voting is open until noon Eastern Time on July 13, with only one vote permitted per device; proceeds from calendar sales benefit the American Association of State Troopers Foundation, which provides educational scholarships.
The Nevada Highway Patrol submitted an image of a Ford Mustang Highway Patrol vehicle alongside a Navy A-18F Super Hornet, while the Michigan State Police entered a Dodge Charger photographed at Grand Haven State Park.
Idaho State Police officials submitted their entry on Tuesday, featuring a Ford Mustang alongside a horse to showcase the state's natural beauty; Washington State Patrol is also competing.
Last year, Michigan State Police took second place, losing only to Florida; voters can cast ballots online through July 10, with rankings updated periodically on the AAST's Facebook page.
