NMDOT News: SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) has closed U.S. 84 in both directions at the bridge over the Rio del Oso until further notice. This afternoon an NMDOT inspector discovered damage that compromised the integrity of the bridge. It is NMDOT’s understanding that the damage was caused by the contractor during repair construction.
