N.J. woman knew about sexual assaults of child, did not try to stop it, investigators say

A Hackensack woman was arrested last week after she was accused of knowing about a child being sexually assaulted and failing to stop it, authorities announced Thursday.The investigation began earlier this month when the Hackensack Police Department notified the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office about the alleged assaults, the office said in a statement.
