- Operating on one track, NJ Transit has cut service from 48 trains per hour to 18 and canceled 27 trains during the transition between Newark and Secaucus.
- To help Midtown Direct riders, NJ Transit is cross‑honoring fares on PATH, ferry, and buses, adding extra buses in Hoboken, officials said.
- The work began Sunday and will continue through March 13, with NJ Transit saying regular service is expected to resume around March 15, 2026, as the Portal North Bridge improves reliability along the Northeast Corridor.
