- Public Relations Officer DCI Akinsola Akinlabi reported that the NIS successfully processed 1,477 Nigerians within the first four days, with operations progressing smoothly despite initial challenges.
- The Service maintains fully automated, cashless payment processes, with fees set at $162 for five-year booklets and $242 for 10-year booklets; no additional charges apply.
- Applicants must book appointments via the High Commission of Nigeria website, with further information regarding procedures to be communicated through official channels during the extended exercise.
