Nine people injured in shooting at Cincinnati concert venue

Police reported that nine people were injured at Riverfront Live, a concert venue on Kellogg Avenue near the Wilmer Avenue intersection, in Cincinnati's East End early Sunday.
Saturday night Riverfront Live, a 16-and-over music venue, hosted a birthday party that began at 10 p.m., and a witness described an altercation involving four to five people before one was knocked unconscious.
Police said nine victims suffered non-life-threatening wounds and were hospitalized at University of Cincinnati Medical Center or Good Samaritan Hospital; officers blocked the 4300 block of Kellogg Avenue while investigating.
Angel Potts, mother of a 25-year-old victim, said patrons were patted down yet people with firearms entered, while victims' families described high anxiety in emergency rooms and officials expect all nine victims to recover.
No suspect description has been released and police called the incident isolated; Riverfront Live had not issued a statement by 5:30 a.m. and lists capacities of 1,200 indoor and up to 3,500 outdoor.
