During a complex shooting incident between two crime families in Lod, police officers arrived at the scene and were also shot at. The officers attempted to make contact and fired shots to neutralize the suspects, resulting in the injury of a resident of the S.H. neighborhood in Lod who was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
After the Prime Minister declared in the Knesset an all-out war on criminal organizations and defined criminals as security criminals, an attempt at blood feud was thwarted in Lod. During a pursuit of a gang of armed men, police shot and arrested a suspect, in the midst of an emergency debate on violence in Arab society, in light of 18 murders since the beginning of the year
During an operational activity by Central District police officers from the Lod station and Border Guard soldiers from the Central National Guard, a violent incident in Lod was thwarted last night. • Another suspect was injured during the exchange of gunfire between those involved and was taken to receive medical treatment. • The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
