Low temperatures in the United States have created a natural fereric decor in the Niagara Cascade area. Parkers in the area have declared that the waters continue to move under the heavy ice layers. Over the course of time, only one case of total ice of the cascade has been recorded. The phenomenon occurred in 1848.
The Niagara Falls at the border with Canada are partially frozen. The reason for this natural spectacle is the persistent cold wave in the USA with temperatures of up to minus 45 degrees Celsius.
