Mark Stone Back in Golden Knights Lineup After 16-Game Absence for Injury

Mark Stone will return to the lineup Wednesday for the Vegas Golden Knights against the Ottawa Senators after practicing fully on a line with Mitch Marner and Brett Howden.
Following the Oct. 18 game against Calgary, Mark Stone, Vegas Golden Knights captain, was placed on injured reserve Oct. 20, missing 16 games with an upper-body injury.
Without Stone, the Vegas Golden Knights went 6-5-5 and their power play dropped to 9 for 53, while Braeden Bowman, 22-year-old rookie, scored four goals and two assists in seven games.
Coaches shuffled lines by making Mark Stone a third-line center while Braeden Bowman stays on the top line and Stone replaces Bowman on the top power-play unit.
After rehabbing in Henderson, Mark Stone said skating with the AHL affiliate this past week expedited his recovery and made him ready to play, noting he might have targeted a Friday return otherwise.
