The track of a launch in 2026 for the very first MacBook Pro OLED takes a little more thickness this week. After the Omdia analysis firm this summer, it is the turn of the Korean media The Elec to support the thesis of a commercialization from next year for this new version of the device.

Apple plans to launch a new MacBook Pro next year with an OLED display, supplied by Samsung. OLED screens offer advantages over mini-LED screens, including higher brightness, better contrast, and longer battery life. Samsung will begin production of the panels in the second quarter of 2026, with an expected annual output of 10 million units. The new product will be available in the fourth quarter of 2026.
