Newly restored house in Pompeii offers glimpse of elite life

Summary by Ground News
The House of Vettii, or Domus Vettiorum in Latin, was formally unveiled Tuesday after 20 years of restoration. Frescoes, in the latest fashion in Pompeii wall decoration before the flourishing city was buried under volcanic ash spewed from Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, have been given fresh life. In the living room, known as the Hall of Pentheus, a fresco depicts Hercules as a child crushing two snakes.
