New York Mayor Eric Adams and New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Ticsh announced on the 21st that the New York City Police Department (NYPD) successfully saved 200 people who were in danger due to "subway surfing" through drones and law enforcement actions. This dangerous behavior has caused multiple deaths and continues to threaten the safety of New York City teenagers.
