New village housing estate promises '21 acres of green public land'

A new housing estate in a Leicestershire village will include 21 acres of public green land, according to an agreement between the developer and local council. Charles Church will build 127 homes on land between the Sketchley Grange Hotel and the A5, in Burbage, after an application for up to 150 houses by a different developer, Barwood Development Securities, was approved for the site on appeal last year.
