New Stop Signs Installed At Weed Street And Elm Street

Two new stop signs were added at the Weed Street and Elm Street intersection in New Canaan on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026.According to the New Canaan Police Department’s Facebook post, the new signs require traffic traveling north and south on Weed Street to stop at the intersection with Elm Street.That makes the corner a three-way stop intersection, since there was already a stop sign on Elm Street at Weed Street, the post states.
