- "We were sitting there and everything shook," Joelle Fares, who recently moved to Majayoun, told AFP; Beirut authorities report Israeli strikes have killed more than 4,300 people since March.
- Following the capture of the ridge last week, Israeli forces continue to occupy a so-called "security zone" in the south, while strikes have intensified, killing 13 people after a weeks-long lull.
