Amy Eagan Named UNM Women's Basketball Coach
Eagan won 48 games over two seasons at Lindenwood and brings more than 300 career victories to a Lobos program seeking a reset.
- On Tuesday, New Mexico athletic director Ryan Berryman announced the hiring of Amy Eagan as women's basketball coach, calling it an exciting new era for the Lobos program.
- Eagan replaces Mike Bradbury, who was fired last week after 10 seasons with the Lobos; Bradbury never had a losing record but the program hadn't reached the NCAA Tournament since 2008.
- With a 329-191 career record and six NCAA Tournament appearances, Eagan led Lindenwood through its Division II to Division I transition, recording 48 wins over the past two seasons.
- "We aim to win Mountain West Championships and reach the NCAA Tournament," Eagan said, thanking Berryman and Amy Beggin for their belief in her and the opportunity.
- The 2026-27 season marks Eagan's first at New Mexico and her 18th overall as a head coach, drawing on more than 300 career wins from tenures at Truman State, Drury University, and Ashford University.
