A Popeyes employee accused of shooting at a vehicle, hitting one of the passengers in the head, has been released from the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending trial. Christian Ruiz, 18, of Pleasantville, was arrested on June 10 for allegedly firing a handgun at a vehicle with six passengers, three of them minors, at a Popeyes in Mays Landing.
