New Haven fire crews rescue three from blaze on Chapel Street, chief says

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the building and people calling for help from the windows, officials said.

The firefighters rescued three people after finding residents looking out of the window of a burning building in New Haven, Connecticut on Monday afternoon, asking for help. Firefighters came to 1300 block on Chapel Street around 2:07 p.m. and found people looking out of the window, screaming for help, according to the fire department.
