TRNC Prime Minister Unal Üstel explained that there were no unreached areas left on the sinking ship off Kyrenia and that no other bodies had been found during extensive searches. While the search work has not ended, the Exponent reported that the Cruise Data Recorder (VDR) removed from the ship has been handed over to the police for examination.
Northern Cyprus Prime Minister Ünal Üstel stated that the entire shipwreck off the coast of Girne has been examined, adding that "no other bodies have been found inside the ship." So far, 15 bodies have been recovered, while 13 people are still missing.
