I am a Jew. I recently celebrated the Passover holiday, commemorating the deliverance of my people from slavery to freedom. Yet at numerous times in history since our deliverance from the Egyptians, we Jews have been anything but free. I am descended from a people who have been denied free speech and freedom of religion.
