NEET UG 2026 Toppers List: Check Names, Highest Marks, State-Wise Toppers, and Other Details

  • The exam, originally held on May 9, was cancelled three days later following paper leak allegations. A re-examination was conducted on June 21, with the Central Bureau of Investigation probing the case.
  • Performance improved dramatically, with the top two candidates scoring 29 marks more than last year's highest. Statistics show 19 candidates reached 700 or above, while 1,492 secured at least 650 marks.
  • Women accounted for more than 58% of successful candidates, while category-wise, 5.12 lakh OBC-NCL candidates qualified. Qualifiers also included 3,666 Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and 303 Persons with Disabilities .
  • Future editions of NEET-UG will transition to computer-based testing, the Centre announced following the exam controversy. "The results were declared within time through re-engineering of the process," the NTA said, explaining parallel scheduling improvements.
