Nearly 10,000 evacuated in Ukraine's Kharkiv region due to attack
A total of 9,907 people have been evacuated in the Kharkiv region in eastern Ukraine due to a ground attack by Russian forces, region governor Oleh Synyehubov said on Saturday.Russia has not responded to the claim.
Due to the Russian offensive in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Kharkov, nearly ten thousand people have had to leave their homes, Governor of the region Oleg Sinegubov said. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of the strengthening of Russian attacks, saying that this could be the first wave of a wider offensive.
Oleh Synehoubov, head of the military administration in this northeastern region, admitted that the Ukrainian army had not been able to stop the Russian forces in this part of the territory until now.
