Remaining Three Flotilla Members Arrive at Jordanian Border
- On June 17, 2025, three pro-Palestinian activists from the Madleen flotilla were released by Israeli authorities and crossed into Jordan as they began their journey home.
- The activists were intercepted at sea on June 9 while sailing in international waters aiming to deliver aid to Gaza, and detained for 72 hours before planned deportation.
- Their deportation flights were delayed due to Israeli airspace closure following Israeli strikes on Iranian military targets and Tehran's retaliatory actions.
- Coordinated by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, the Madleen initiative represents a longstanding 17-year civil society campaign aimed at confronting Israel’s blockade on Gaza and increasing international awareness.
- The activists’ arrival in Jordan facilitates their return home and continues the broader campaign advocating for Gaza residents' rights and humanitarian access.
