- Following actionable intelligence, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency raided Igoba forest in Akure North LGA, Ondo state and paired supply-reduction with WADA sensitisation in schools and worship centres.
- At Maraba‑Mubi, NDLEA operatives intercepted a Toyota Hiace bus concealing tablets inside jumbo bags mixed with new rubber sandals, while 3,874,000 tramadol pills and codeine syrup were recovered at Oko market, Asaba, Delta state on Saturday.
- Multiple suspects linked to Drug Trafficking Organisations were arrested nationwide, including Jacob Omodowo and Ali Blessing at Jabi park, while Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa praised the balanced supply and demand reduction approach.
- Across states and settings, NDLEA recovered drugs in forests, Lagos markets, and Owerri road, using varied concealment in vehicles and compressed skunk blocks.
