LAKE WACCAMAW, NC (WWAY) —  The N.C. Department of Transportation will be dedicating the newly constructed Old Lake Road overpass near Lake Waccamaw to the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe on Saturday. Last year, the N.C. General Assembly passed an NCDMV session bill that also directed the NCDOT to dedicate this bridge to the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe.
