Industrial production in May increased by 4.4 percent year-on-year, with manufacturing recording a growth of 7.0 percent, while the mining and energy sectors registered a decline of 4.4 percent and 5.7 percent, respectively.
The Mining Production Index (IPMin) had an increase of 9.8%, as a result of the increased activity recorded in the three types of mining that make up it.
