The bee population in Belgium fell by 22.5% over the past winter, according to a survey published on Monday by the Honeybee Valley platform of the University of Ghent (UGent). Research was carried out in collaboration with the Walloon Centre for Agricultural Research (CRA-W) and the Cari beekeeping ASBL. In Brussels, this figure reached 44%.
