The Presidential Office is demanding the return of the Silver Cross of Merit from Jolanta Lange. Former President Andrzej Duda stripped her of the decoration, but she has not returned the order or her ID card. Presidential officials have informed her in writing that if Lange fails to return it within the specified timeframe, they will be forced to file a lawsuit in a common court.
Agnieszka Jędrzak, a minister in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, has published a letter demanding that Jolanta Lange return the Silver Cross of Merit awarded to her in 1997. The Chancellery has given her one week to return the decoration and warned her of legal action.
"Father Franciszek Blachnicki, the founder of the Light-Life Movement, repressed by the authorities of the Polish People's Republic, died suddenly (...) on February 27, 1987, shortly after a visit from Andrzej and Jolanta Gontarczyk, agents placed in his entourage by the Security Service."
