Leak leads to gas, power shut-off for Upland Street customers in Pottstown

POTTSTOWN — A gas leak on Upland Street resulted in PECO turning off natural gas service for 140 customers and electric service for 131 customers while the leak was repaired. The odor of gas was first reported at about 8 p.m. Monday, according to PECO spokesperson Madison Davis.
