Stymied by stage freight as a freshman in high school, four years later Kentwood resident Caeden Stearns is preparing to represent his country on a world stage nearly 9,000 miles away from his comfortable Kentwood home.

Natterson, Parsons and Staelin to Represent U.S. at World Rowing U23 Championships

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale lightweight crew's Ry Natterson (Los Angeles, Calif.), Timmy Parsons (Eugene, Ore.) and Fielding Staelin (Nashville, Tenn.) will represent the United States at the upcoming World Rowing Under 23 Championships. Natterson and Staelin will compete together in the U23 lightweight men's double sculls (BLM2x), while Parsons is in the U23 men's four (BM4-).
